Three Ugly-Beautiful Gifts

172. Our wilted little Christmas tree; fading a bit, but still holding its own in the corner of the room.
173. Our ravaged front lawn with about a million bird seed husks, squirrel bury-holes, and deer footprints. Not unusual to see 40 birds of 10 varieties eating there together. And Brother Fox lapping up corn in the evenings.
174. Ray’s Father’s Day “World’s Best Pop Pop” trophy made by the loving hands of his daughter and grandson. (The game winning softball sitting on top is from a game where Ray was MVP.)
